Overcast skies, steady wind,
accumulation of over 2 ft. of new snow

“Two days later, the monster storm has died down and we continue our attempt of Mount Kosciuszko in the winter.  This time the guide arrives with a smile and says the weather report look good, and the isobars on the map are further apart today.  It is a go!”
