Summit day at 20,320 feet. After 8 1/2 hours up and 4 1/2 hours down we returned to base camp.

Low temp. -20F

"We did it!  We did it!  The hike up was the most grueling thing I have ever done.  It took every ounce of my strength, spirit, and determination.  I pulled out all the tricks to distract my mind from the pain.  Our guide said today we would suffer and we did.  Suffer yes, but my tears today are not from pain, they are from joy.  This climb has tested me physically, and in doing so, emotionally and spiritually as well.  You see who you are when you are pushed to your limits.  I have proven to myself that I am in control of my physical body and my MS.  It does not define me or limit me.  Life's possibilities are endless...."
